Matt Mason
Founder
Mr. Mason has more than 20 years experience in the fields of enery management for a broad specturm of industries including healthcare, multi-family, warehouses, manufacturing, retail, and large utility.
Mr. Mason technical experience covers building management systems, HVAC, power generation, waste management, building envelope, energy modeling, solar, and a many other technologies. Real estate development experience began in his 20s, recognizing the future value of Jersey City real estate despite its current depressed state. Mr. Mason purchased dilapidated properties and renovating them with a focus on property energy efficiency, which reduced tenant's utility bills, and allowed for the maximization of rents. Mr. Mason received his bachelor of mechanical engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, with a focus on energy systems including power plant design, heat exchanger design, and HVAC design.

Peter Storment
Corporate Finance – Consultant/Advisor
Mr. Storment brings more than 25 years of experience as an investment banker, entrepreneur, and financial analyst covering multiple industries in the US and around the globe.
With significant experience and expertise in both developed markets and emerging/frontier markets, Mr. Storment has, over the last decade, led the efforts in strategically positioning and building a leading global middle market investment banking practice specializing in Emerging and Frontier Markets in Africa, Europe, Latin America and Asia.
Recent transactions include $15 million of convertible preferred equity for a leading micro-finance institution, strategic advice for a high growth fintech company, and $161 million in preferred equity for a leading African Universal Bank.
Mr. Storment received a BA from Harvard College (History & Literature) and an MBA from NYU's Stern School of Business.
Jon Serbin
Corporate Development & Corporate Growth – Consultant/Advisor
Mr. Serbin is a trusted advisor to a broad spectrum of global corporations and institutional investors. With more than 25 years of experience, his areas of expertise include buyouts, mergers, acquisitions, valuations, appraisals, and corporate finance for a broad spectrum of industries including biotech/healthcare, financial services, technology, real estate, energy, and mining industries.
Mr. Serbin has work with, advised, and/or analyzed companies from the start-up stage to large public companies, including many of the world’s largest corporations. He has worked with/for companies at most every stage of a company’s life cycle in multiple industries.
At Morgan Stanley, Mr. Serbin was a core member of the M&A teams for Morgan Stanley's first two strategic acquisitions ($300 Million and $1.2 Billion) and its $10 billion merger with Dean Witter. As part of Morgan Stanley’s CFO & Global Treasury Office, Mr. Serbin also facilitated the expansion of all of Morgan’s core business units and in both developed markets (Canada, Europe and Japan), and emerging markets (China, India, Brazil).
He received his undergraduate degree (bachelor’s) from Harvard College (Pre-Medical, Pre-Law & Government) and did two years of graduate coursework in Finance, Economics, Strategy and Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's (M.I.T.) Sloan School of Management where he was also an Assistant at the International Financial Services Research Center.
At Harvard Business School, Mr. Serbin served as a Research Associate and is the co-author of popular Harvard Business School case studies utilized in Executive Training and Business Schools throughout the globe.
